Spain’s Secuoya Studios has tapped Carla Gómez as head of development and executive producer for Latin America, strengthening its creative and production operations in the region. Bringing more than two decades of experience in the television and streaming sector, Gómez will oversee the development of original projects from initial concept through production.

It’s Emmys season in TV land, which means there’s hardly a better time to look at the best shows coming out of networks and streamers across Hollywood. While HBO Max, Netflix, and Apple TV have proved that streamers still dominate prestige television, Prime Video has hardly made a mark in major, to-be-televised categories.
