The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is giving audiences another look at its return to Panem, with Official Trailer 2 now available for the upcoming film.

The movie is set to open in theaters on November 20 and centers on Haymitch’s prequel tale. The story revisits the world of Panem twenty-four years before the events of The Hunger Games, beginning on the morning of the reaping for the Fiftieth Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell.
Joseph Zada leads the announced cast, which also includes Jesse Plemons, Ralph Fiennes, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Mckenna Grace, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak and Kelvin Harrison Jr.
The film is directed by Francis Lawrence, who is also among its producers. Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson are also producing. The screenplay is by Billy Ray, based on the novel by Suzanne Collins.
With its timeline set more than two decades before the original Hunger Games events, Sunrise on the Reaping expands the franchise’s screen story by focusing on an earlier era of Panem and one of its most consequential Games: the Fiftieth Hunger Games, identified in the film’s materials as the Second Quarter Quell.
