Metallica is taking its M72 World Tour deeper into 2027, adding a new slate of North American stadium dates that will bring the Live Nation-promoted run to 12 cities not previously visited on this tour.
The newly confirmed leg begins May 8, 2027, at BC Place in Vancouver and is scheduled to wrap June 19, 2027, at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. The itinerary moves through the American southwest, midwest and beyond, with stops including San Diego, El Paso, San Antonio, Fayetteville, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Madison and Cleveland.
Limp Bizkit and Avatar will provide support on all newly announced dates.
The M72 World Tour has already logged 99 shows across 26 countries since launching in April 2023. The 2027 stadium extension keeps the tour on the road more than four years after its kickoff, adding another North American chapter to the run.
Ticket and Presale Details
Tickets for the newly announced shows will first be available through Metallica Fan Club presales beginning Monday, September 21, at 10 a.m. local time. Additional presales are scheduled to continue throughout the week before the general onsale opens Friday, September 25, at 10 a.m. local time.
Citi is the official card of the M72 World Tour. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets through the Citi Entertainment program beginning September 22 at 10 a.m. local time and running until September 24 at 10 p.m. local time. Verizon will also offer customers an exclusive presale for newly added U.S. M72 shows through its Verizon Shine loyalty program. That presale for select shows runs from September 22 at 10 a.m. local time through September 24 at 10 p.m. local time. Verizon Shine offers customers experiences and daily drops that include concert and sporting-event tickets, exclusive merchandise, dining vouchers, gift cards and more. Customers can opt in through the My Verizon App.
