Disney has unveiled Disney Believe, its latest cruise ship, with a lineup that includes the first stage adaptation of “Disney Encanto,” a new “Frozen” family dining experience and entertainment inspired by “Moana,” “Zootopia” and other Disney titles.
The ship is scheduled to begin sailing from its homeport at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a maiden voyage on Dec. 18, 2027.
Among the biggest additions is the “Encanto” production, which will premiere aboard Disney Believe. The show is being developed exclusively for the ship and marks the first time “Disney Encanto” has been adapted for the stage.
A New Chapter for Anna, Kristoff and Oaken
Disney Believe will also introduce “Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast,” an original experience built around a previously untold chapter in the “Frozen” story.
Oaken, Anna and Kristoff will be featured in the experience, which places guests in a courtyard deep within the forest. There, Oaken and his family will host a shared meal accompanied by musical performances from his cousins.
Elsewhere on the ship, The Grand Hall will operate as a living theater where characters from across the Disney universe can take center stage. Its design draws on the colorful world where the sky meets the sea in Disney Animation’s “Moana” films.
Disney Worlds Spread Across the Ship
Several additional spaces will bring familiar animated settings and characters into the onboard experience. The Wishing Well will serve as a gathering place themed around settings and locations from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”
Gazelle, meanwhile, will be a “Zootopia”-inspired entertainment hub. Its schedule will include live family shows designed to encourage guests to laugh, sing and compete together, along with adult-exclusive offerings at night.
The ship’s food and beverage lineup will continue the character-driven approach. Inside Out: Joyful Sweets will offer confectionery inspired by the expanded group of emotions featured in Pixar’s “Inside Out 2.” New cafes themed to “Big Hero 6” and “Moana” are also planned.
Disney Cruise Line’s Expansion Continues
Disney Believe will join sister ships Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. Its arrival forms part of Disney Cruise Line’s wider growth plan, which is set to expand the fleet to 13 ships in late 2030.
What Happens Next?
The new “Encanto” stage show, “Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast” and Disney Believe’s other themed spaces are due to welcome guests when the ship launches its maiden voyage from Port Everglades on Dec. 18, 2027.
