The Tonight Show is returning to the heightened world of billionaire romance, suspicion and revenge with a second season of its microdrama satire, Who Billionaire? Me Billionaire.
The new season will launch during the Sunday, Sept. 27 episode of Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show, airing after Sunday Night Football. The short-form vertical series, sponsored by oral care company TheraBreath, has been positioned as late-night television’s first microdrama.
Fallon will once again lead the cast alongside John Stamos, Kasey Esser, Rose Kelso and Delaney Rowe. The Tonight Show has also promised appearances by “surprise guest stars,” although no additional names have been announced.
More trouble for Chaiston, Brax and Prestina
Season two will continue the deliberately soapy story introduced when the first season debuted in late July. That opening chapter centered on two billionaire couples celebrating an engagement, only for their festivities to be disrupted by a vengeful stranger played by Stamos.
The follow-up will push its characters into another round of exaggerated turmoil. Fallon’s Chaiston becomes increasingly unhinged, while his best friend Brax, played by Esser, begins to suspect that Prestina, played by Rowe, is having an affair. The season’s escalating drama will ultimately leave someone in a coma.
The returning cast and cliffhanger-heavy plot continue the show’s satire of the microdrama format, using bite-sized episodes and outsized twists to tell the story. Another late-night program, The Daily Show, is also planning a separate satire built around the format.
A two-night broadcast and streaming rollout
The first short episode of the new season will premiere as part of Sunday’s Tonight Show broadcast. Episodes one through six will then become available on Peacock and across The Tonight Show’s social-media platforms.
The rollout will continue the following night, with another episode premiering during Monday’s edition of The Tonight Show. Episodes seven through 12 will subsequently appear on Peacock and other social platforms.
The second-season order follows a sizable audience for the initial run. According to The Tonight Show, the first season of Who Billionaire? Me Billionaire attracted 27 million viewers.

Viewers will get their first look at the new billionaire chaos during the Sept. 27 broadcast, before the story expands through its 12-episode release on Peacock and social media. The identities of the promised surprise guest stars — and the character who ends the season in a coma — remain unrevealed.
