Swae Lee is returning to Australia with a five-date national tour supporting his debut solo album, Same Difference.

The rapper and singer will begin the Australian leg at Melbourne’s Forum on Jan. 6, 2027. He will then perform at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Jan. 8 and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Jan. 10.

The run concludes with two further shows: Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Jan. 12 and Perth’s Metro City on Jan. 13.

Presented by Live Nation, the Australian dates will follow a series of European shows scheduled throughout late 2026. They also come after the release of Same Difference, Swae Lee’s first full-length solo studio album.

Post Malone, Jhené Aiko and French Montana are among the collaborators featured on the record. The album represents a major solo step for Swae Lee following years of chart success both as part of Rae Sremmurd and through prominent collaborations outside the duo.

From Rae Sremmurd to a First Solo Album

Swae Lee first rose to prominence alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi in Rae Sremmurd. The pair secured their first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 in 2016 with “Black Beatles,” featuring Gucci Mane. The track remained at the top of the chart for seven weeks.

His success continued through collaborations released outside Rae Sremmurd. French Montana’s “Unforgettable,” featuring Swae Lee, reached No. 3 on the Hot 100 in 2017. It became Swae Lee’s first top-10 entry as a solo artist.

He later joined Post Malone for “Sunflower,” which appeared in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The song reached No. 1 on the Hot 100 in January 2019, delivering Swae Lee’s first chart-topper as a solo artist. It ultimately spent 33 weeks in the top 10.

Swae Lee also holds a songwriting credit on Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode,” which topped the Hot 100 in December 2018. Together, those records established his melodic voice well before the arrival of his first solo studio album.

ShowBiz Take

The Australian tour gives Swae Lee a national live platform for a notable new phase of his career. His previous chart milestones came through Rae Sremmurd, featured appearances, songwriting and collaborations, while Same Difference is specifically positioned as his debut full-length solo studio statement.

The album’s guest list also connects that solo milestone with artists linked to some of his best-known chart successes. Post Malone collaborated with him on the No. 1 hit “Sunflower,” while French Montana’s “Unforgettable” delivered his first solo top-10 appearance. With five cities scheduled across eight days, the Australian leg places the new album at the center of a tightly arranged national run.
