The 78th annual Primetime Emmy Awards are here. Television’s biggest night always brings out some of the biggest stars in Hollywood, and this evening is no exception, with the nominees including A-listers like Zendaya, Claire Danes, Ayo Edebiri, Elle Fanning, Lisa Kudrow, Carey Mulligan, Quinta Brunson, and so many more.
In terms of nominations, the two frontrunners are both HBO Max originals. The first is the tense medical drama The Pitt, with 25 nods, followed closely by the dark comedy Hacks, with 24, respectively. The latter wrapped its fifth and final season this past May.
However, while both of these series have fared well at Emmys past, many of the big contenders of the night are brand-new, like Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay and FX’s Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette.
And while we can expect the cast members from each of these shows to show out, there will also be a few other special moments throughout the night. The Bob Hope Humanitarian Award will be presented to actor and Parkinson’s Disease activist Michael J. Fox. Plus, it is rumored that Reba McEntire will perform a special tribute in memory of Dolly Parton.
Of course, before any of this goes down, the stars will begin their night by hitting the red carpet, where we’ll have our attention laser-focused. As one of the biggest events in Hollywood, you can bet that the attendees will be bringing their black-tie best.
Ahead, see all the celebrity red-carpet looks from the 2026 Emmy Awards.
