Yahritza y Su Esencia has joined Double P Management under a new co-management agreement designed to support the sibling trio’s continued career growth and global expansion.

The artist management company, led by music executive George Prajin and Peso Pluma, added the group to its roster in a deal announced Wednesday, Oct. 28, Billboard reported. Longtime manager Adriana Martinez will remain part of the team, working alongside Prajin and Double P rather than handing over representation entirely.

The partnership brings Yahritza, Armando and Jairo Martínez into a management operation that also works with Peso Pluma, Tito Double P, Santa Fe Klan, Deorro and Paloma Mami, among other Latin artists.

A Shared Vision for the Group

Prajin described Yahritza y Su Esencia as a young música mexicana act that has already developed a strong connection with listeners, while emphasizing the potential he sees ahead.

“Yahritza y Su Esencia have built something truly special,” Prajin said in a statement. “Their talent, authenticity and connection with audiences have already established them as one of the most important young groups in música mexicana.”

He added that the group remains at the beginning of what he expects to be a significant career, citing its “artistry, vision and star power.” Prajin said Double P is looking forward to working with Martinez and supporting the trio’s next chapter.

Martinez said the decision grew from a shared outlook on the group’s future. She pointed to the siblings’ talent, work ethic and relationship with fans as factors that continue to create opportunities for them.

“This partnership felt like the right next step,” Martinez said. “George Prajin shares our vision for the group’s future, and alongside his incredible experience, we’re excited to work together to create a complete ecosystem for Yahritza y Su Esencia and help them continue growing and achieving great things together.”

Success Already Behind the Trio

Formed in Yakima, Washington, Yahritza y Su Esencia has built its identity around a distinctive sound and emotionally driven songwriting. The group’s catalog includes “Soy El Único,” “Esta Noche” and “Frágil,” its collaboration with Grupo Frontera.

The trio has accumulated billions of streams and recorded multiple chart achievements since emerging in regional Mexican music. One of its biggest early milestones arrived in 2022 with the five-track EP Obsessed, which reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart.

That result followed another major breakthrough one month earlier. “Soy El Único,” the EP’s lead single, became Yahritza y Su Esencia’s first entry on any Billboard chart and debuted at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs ranking. Yahritza was 15 at the time.

Those achievements provide the foundation for the new management arrangement. The trio is not entering the partnership as an untested act: it already has chart-topping releases, a large streaming audience and recognizable songs. Double P and Martinez will now jointly oversee the effort to build on that record.

ShowBiz Take

The most notable aspect of this deal is its co-management structure. Yahritza y Su Esencia is keeping the longtime representation that helped guide its rise while adding Prajin and the Double P team for the next stage. That continuity could be especially meaningful as the group pursues the global expansion identified as a goal of the partnership.

The agreement also places the siblings alongside a roster of artists already contributing to the reach of Latin music, including Double P co-leader Peso Pluma. For Double P, the signing adds a trio with billions of streams and two documented No. 1 chart breakthroughs to its growing lineup.

For Yahritza y Su Esencia, the arrangement signals an effort to expand without abandoning the management relationship already in place. Both Prajin and Martinez framed the collaboration around long-term development, with Prajin saying the group’s potential remains exceptionally high and Martinez describing the deal as the next step in a shared plan.

No specific upcoming release or project was announced as part of the agreement. For now, the confirmed development is a larger management team built around the trio’s established success—and an ambition to carry that momentum into a broader phase of growth.
