Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez have an out-of-this-world connection in the teaser trailer for their animated movie Not Alone.

Eric Guillon, Claire Dodgson and Jonathan Del Val directed the feature that Universal Pictures is set to release on April 16, 2027. Hailing from Illumination, the project has a voice cast that includes Brett Goldstein, Rob Brydon, Jamie Demetriou, Diane Morgan, Allison Janney and Lamorne Morris.

Not Alone marks the debut animated feature for Chalamet, who stars as Joe, a solitary rocket mechanic whose life lights up when he meets Fran (Gomez), an astro-botanist focused on creating the first plant-fueled rocket. After the pair develop chemistry while prepping for rocket’s launch, their lives change significantly when three tiny and opinionated aliens begin sharing Joe’s home as they hide from an intergalactic officer of the law.
