1 min readMillions upon millions of fans tuned in to watch the exciting FIFA World Cup semi-finals match between Spain and France yesterday, in which the Spanish took home the win with a 0-2 score.
The match took place at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and while the location was somewhat unexpected, fans made their way there, in the spirit of football. Among the attendees were Timothée Chalamet, Javier Bardem, and the Beckhams.
David and Victoria Beckham brought along their children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper (they remain estranged from Brooklyn) for the big day, and the boys were clad in their England team merch.
Cruz attended with his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, while Bardem and Chalamet went sans their partners (Penélope Cruz and Kylie Jenner, respectively).
Bardem, of course, stayed loyal in his Spain jersey, and Harper joined him in the Spanish team’s merch. Chalamet, meanwhile, wore a vintage-style bomber jacket repping France (he is French-American, after all). Sadly, he had to watch his team go home after the impressive match.
Today, July 15, the World Cup semi-finals head to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, where England will go up against Argentina. The long-awaited match kicks off at 3 p.m. ET, and the winner will go up against Spain in the final, which will take place on Sunday, July 19, in New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. We can’t wait to see which stars show up then.
