2 min readWhen many picture Simone Ashley, they may think of the elaborate Regency garb she wears in Bridgerton or the artful looks she wears as a fashion editor in The Devil Wears Prada 2. However, in real life, the English actor tends to favor outfits that are a bit more stripped back, yet still undeniably chic.
On Tuesday afternoon, Ashley was spotted in the London neighborhood of Notting Hill, where she embraced a bit of cottagecore in a buttery yellow minidress and a printed, polka-dot headscarf.

Her dress, which featured a halter-style scoop neckline, made from a form-fitting material, had a bit of a sporty energy to it, but when paired with the bandana, the overall result looked much more fit for a picnic or a day spent sailing. She completed the outfit with a set of soft brown Puma Speedcat sneakers, while carrying a white leather handbag from Prada on her shoulder.
As it turns out, she chose this uniform for a date with her new man, Jay Jammal, who is a senior account executive at Soho Communications.
While it’s unclear how the two met, they were seen holding hands and smiling as they took a stroll through the neighborhood. For his part, Jammal wore a navy tee and matching baseball cap, with some light-wash jeans and suede clogs.
Previously, Ashley was linked to lawyer-turned-CEO Constantin “Tino” Klein from 2022 to 2025. She confirmed their split during a visit to BBC’s Woman’s Hour in February 2025, while promoting her film Picture This. “It’s kind of ironic I’m promoting a rom-com,” she said on the show. “As of January this year, I’ve been entering my single era.”
Now, per her fashion, it seems she may be entering a new, easy, breezy chapter with someone else.
