MetLife Stadium got a starry guest yesterday afternoon, as Sabrina Carpenter made her way to New Jersey for the FIFA World Cup Group E match between Ecuador and Germany.

The Man’s Best Friend singer sat in a luxury suite alongside some friends to watch Ecuador defeat Germany 2-1 in an exciting game. Photos show her engrossed in the action, all while looking fresh and preppy for the hot summer day.

Carpenter wore a little navy-and-white golf dress with a polo collar and subtle red detailing. Despite the humidity, her blonde hair remained styled in a perfectly bouncy Hollywood blowout, and she wore her signature makeup: black liner, wispy lashes, rosy blush, and a deep-pink lip.

The pop princess was seen holding binoculars to get a better look at the plays from her box.

The 2026 World Cup kicked off on June 11 in Mexico City, with a match between Mexico and South Africa. The opener had a star-studded lineup of performers—including Shakira, Tyla, and J Balvin—who took to the field to celebrate the soccer tournament. And many other big names (like Salma Hayek and Cristiano Ronaldo) sat on the stands to watch the explosive game.

The opener then traveled to Los Angeles, where another batch of celebrated performers put on a show. Meanwhile, Hollywood celebrities including Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sofía Vergara, and David and Victoria Beckham, sat in their VIP seats at SoFi Stadium to watch the players do their thing.

The tournament wraps on Sunday, July 19, at MetLife, and you bet we’ll get to see plenty more A-list fans dive into soccer fandom until then.
