From the Royal Ascot to the Wimbledon finals to the Royal Charity Polo Cup, the Wales family has—like much of the world—been enjoying a summer of sports. And they’re not done yet.

On Saturday, August 2, Prince William and Princess Kate brought their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, to Glasgow for the 2026 Commonwealth Games. While the royal couple’s daughter made her debut appearance at the function back in 2022, for their sons, yesterday’s outing marked their first time at the event. And, judging by the look on Louis’s face, it seemed they had a blast.

For the occasion, Kate and Charlotte matched in navy-and-white stripes, with the future queen layering an olive-green blazer over a crewneck top and long pleated skirt, and her mini-me donning a polka-dot dress with a sweet little collar.

The young princes coordinated in Ralph Lauren button-down shirts, and Louis adorably accessorized halfway through with a Beicio Cymru (Welsh Cycling) bucket hat.

Founded in 1930 as the British Empire Games before going through several name changes (the British Empire and Commonwealth Games, the British Commonwealth Games, and, ultimately, the Commonwealth Games), the international multi-sport event brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations every four years for a friendly competition. (In addition to all the titles the tournament has held over the years, it was nicknamed the “Friendly Games” for its emphasis on sportsmanship.) William and Kate first attended the event together back in 2014, and in 2022, brought Charlotte along for her debut appearance.
