2 min readLove is real! Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell were the picture of true romance as they made their way down the Venice Film Festival red carpet yesterday, for a screening of Wild Horse Nine, which Rockwell stars in.
The glamorous date night called for fabulous, coordinating black-tie looks. Rockwell was dapper in a sharp black suit with satin lapels, which he adorned with a silver brooch and styled with a white shirt that he left partly open. Cool black Ray-Ban sunglasses rounded it all out.
Bibb, meanwhile, was fantastic in a sweeping black-and-blue halter gown with a graphic floral, print. The floor-length piece had a high leg slit on one side, which was accented by a rosette at the thigh. She wore it with strappy black stilettos and diamond jewelry, plus her signature choppy bob.
And while both looks worked separately, they were far better together.
The actors could not contain their love as they embraced, laughed, and cuddled on the red carpet. Giddy and flirty, Bibb flashed her megawatt smile as Rockwell wrapped his arm around her waist.
What’s better is the lovers have been together nearly 20 years. Bibb and Rockwell began dating in October 2007, after meeting in the lobby of the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood while Rockwell was filming Frost/Nixon. They’ve been together since, and have even collaborated on various on-screen projects: Iron Man 2 in 2010, Don Verdean in 2015, The Dark of Night in 2017, and most recently, in season three of The White Lotus.
Both on and off the screen, these two are a perfect match.
