Lauren Sánchez Bezos is back in Paris wearing vintage. The former journalist was spotted leaving her hotel in the French capital on Sunday, looking ready for the warm weather in a see-through summer minidress.
The crochet piece came in a soft sky blue and included woven spaghetti straps. It plunged down at the neckline and rose up at the center of the skirt—in both spots, a shimmery silver chainmail took over, adding some sparkle. The layered dress featured a micro minidress that covered Sánchez Bezos’s torso and fell just below her hips. The see-through top layer, meanwhile, flowed down just past her knees.
The design wasn’t any ol’ summer dress, but rather a vintage Christian Dior by John Galliano piece from the Spring/Summer 2001 collection. Mrs. Bezos is a sucker for a good archival find, after all.
To keep cool, Sánchez Bezos carried Chanel’s Ice Cube Minaudière with silver hardware. The rare novelty clutch made its debut in the Fall/Winter 2010 ready-to-wear collection designed by Karl Lagerfeld. More vintage!
As for jewelry, she went with her favorite pair of giant diamond stud earrings—to go with her massive diamond engagement ring from Jeff Bezos, of course. Black sunglasses, pale-pink pumps, a glossy pink lip that matched her manicure, and a bouncy, wavy high ponytail completed her look.
Sánchez Bezos’s trip to the City of Light comes just days before Paris Fashion Week Men’s Spring/Summer 2027 begins. The shows, from at least 74 brands, will run from June 23 to June 28. Surely, we’ll see more of Mrs. Bezos’s eye-catching style on the fashion show front rows. Watch this space!
