Heathers The Musical has set a new final performance date for its current off-Broadway run.

The production will play its last performance on October 11 at New World Stages, bringing the engagement to a close earlier than the previously announced extension through November 8. The update gives the off-Broadway revival a newly revised end point after officially opening on July 10, 2025.

While the New York run is now nearing its final weeks, the show is not disappearing from the road map. Heathers The Musical is scheduled to launch a North American tour in May 2027, beginning in Baltimore, Maryland.

The current off-Broadway company is led by Isabella Esler as Veronica Sawyer and John Cardoza as Jason “J.D.” Dean. The cast also features Zan Berube as Heather Chandler, Morgan Dudley as Heather Duke and Ava DeMary as Heather McNamara.

Rounding out the principal company are Anneliese van der Pol as Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom, Aniya Thompson as Martha Dunnstock, Chris Marsh Clark as Ram Sweeney, Nicholas A. Wilkinson as Kurt Kelly, Jimmy Ray Bennett as Ram’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach Ripper and Brian Martin as Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principal Gowan.

Based on the 1989 film by Daniel Waters, Heathers The Musical features book, music and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe. Andy Fickman directs the revival.
