3 min readWhile Katie Holmes spent the past year filming a trilogy of rom-coms, it appears that there’s a new romance in her personal life, too.
Last Friday, the Dawson’s Creek alum was seen holding hands with Jason Bard Yarmosky, as the two headed to a screening of Olivia Wilde’s new directorial feature, The Invite, at the Regal UA East Hampton.
The pair entered the theater together, and, according to a People eyewitness: “[Yarmosky] was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing, they seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night.” The source added: “They sat together during the movie, she had her head on his shoulder at one point. They looked very cute.”
At the movie, Holmes wore a white long-sleeve top and an iridescent green skirt speckled with a print of orange flowers. Her hair was tied in a half-updo, which put her golden drop earrings on full display. Finally, she accessorized with a quilted Chanel crossbody bag in oxblood.
For his part, Yarmosky chose an all-black uniform consisting of a skintight long-sleeve top and matching slacks.
The pair didn’t pose for photos together, but they were seen chatting with friends at the afterparty held at the Boat House.
While it’s unclear if these two are actually dating—and how long they’ve been together—Holmes was most recently linked to musician Bobby Wooten III, who she dated for about eight months in 2022.

He is a fine artist.
Yarmosky is a modern artist who specializes in painting and drawing. According to his official website, his work “centers on themes of aging, time, and memory—subjects the artist has been fascinated with since childhood.”
His early work often used his grandparents as subjects, which helped him to explore the concepts of aging and time. According to his biography, he mixes “17th- and 18th-century painting techniques with contemporary imagery.”
Since graduating from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2010, his work has been exhibited across the United States and internationally, at spaces like the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Yellowstone Art Museum, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and the Guild Hall of East Hampton.
He was chosen as a part of the 2026 Tribeca Festival Artist Awards Program.
Each year, the Tribeca Film Festival teams up with Chanel to host the Tribeca Festival Artist Awards Program, where 10 artists are invited to gift one of their works to the winning filmmakers of the festival.
For 2026, Yarmosky was one of the honorees, alongside Tosh Basco, Brendan Fernandes, Soull and Dynasty Ogun, Bony Ramirez, Kiki Smith, Tavares Strachan, Hank Willis Thomas, Carrie Mae Weems, and Joshua Woods.
Yarmosky shared his excitement on Instagram, while taking the time to thank curator Zoe Lukov, too. “Thrilled to be part of this years Tribeca Film Festival and Chanel’s artist program,” he wrote. “Thank you @zoelukov ! ❤️.”
Notably, the world premiere of Holmes’s Happy Hours took place at the same festival, and she was seen heading to the Tribeca Artists’ Dinner, which is where she may have first connected with Yarmosky.
His art has been displayed on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
Not only has Yarmosky’s work been included in museum exhibitions, but in 2025, a series of his paintings, titled “Timeless Women In New York,” was displayed in the Fifth Avenue windows of Bergdorf Goodman.
The series celebrated the union of fashion and portraiture through five paintings of women who Yarmosky believed to be influential to New York City culture.
“I’m inspired by the overlap between costume and fashion; how a dress can convey personal style and yet create a persona,” he told WWD. “The right garment can embolden a sitter to reveal themselves, expressing identity and personality. Each portrait unveils a timeless woman, mirrored in fashion, revealing unique qualities I find to be of New York.”
His dating history is unknown.

Who exactly Yarmosky has dated in the past is not currently public knowledge, but it seems that things may be heating up between him and Holmes.
Days after the two were seen holding hands at a screening of The Invite in East Hampton, they were pictured cuddling up again on Tuesday, July 14, seemingly on a date night in New York City.
The two had their arms wrapped around each other, with Holmes sporting a black slipdress, flats, and a red-and-white floral shirt, while Yarmosky wore a gray tee and jet-black slacks.
