Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden over the holiday weekend—perhaps you heard? While it’s been confirmed that the newlyweds wore custom Dior Couture by Jonathan Anderson, there isn’t much else that we know about the event due to the strict no-phones policy.

Instead, we spectators were left to watch (and enjoy) the arrivals of the couple’s friends and family, all of whom went full-send on the wedding guest glamour. One thing that quickly became clear on Friday? Bespoke takes on the “old money” manicure (also called the quiet luxury manicure or “soap nails”) were the look du jour.

Take one of the bride’s besties, Selena Gomez. Nail artist supreme (and serious trend-starter) Tom Bachik used a combination of his eponymous line and Chanel nail products to create what he called “the perfect quiet luxury mani” on her ultra-long, square nails. The look was nude and glossy, not unlike what Gomez wore the day she got engaged to now-husband Benny Blanco. For Jennifer Lopez, Bachik created a slightly punchier version, combining the nude shade with a cat-eye finish for something with a bit of edge.

On the flip side of the same trend—yes, there are many ways to old money manicure!—are Cindy Crawford and Zoë Kravitz’s easy, elevated, no-mani manicures. Their nails were kept short and clean, almost bare.

And what about Swift’s nails, you ask? While we don’t know for certain, here are a few guesses.
