Between the Beckham family’s Saint-Tropez trip and Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldaña’s Mykonos getaway, it’s been a season of beaches, yachts, and island-worthy wardrobes. And now, over on the Italian coast, Emma Watson has joined in on the fun.
Photographed showing up to George Clooney’s Lake Como villa, Watson was seen stepping off of a boat at the home’s private dock before making her way up to the property. She dressed in a little linen minidress for the journey, designed in white with a lilac floral pattern and cutout accents. Courtesy of Zimmermann, a label synonymous with warm-weather holidays, the puff-sleeve piece was embellished with criss-cross tie detailing and trimmed with scalloped lace—adding a preppy touch.
The Harry Potter actor paired the mini with a chocolate-brown woven leather bag and slipped into matching sandals with an open toe and ankle straps. Her brown hair was worn down with a windswept look from the boat ride, and she finished off the ensemble with delicate drop earrings and a short stack of bracelets.
While Watson and Clooney are not known to be close friends, it was unclear whether the guest was paying a visit to the fellow actor and his wife, Amal, or if she was staying at the lakeside house while the couple was away. Regardless, the unexpected connection was not entirely surprising, given both the Little Women star and the Clooneys’s dedication to philanthropy and the arts.
