Calvin Harris has turned his 2027 Australian tour into a record-setting event before it has even begun, selling more than 330,000 tickets across the fully sold-out run.

Promoters Untitled Group, Full Circle and Live Nation say every show on the Calvin Harris – Australia Tour 2027 has sold out. The result makes it the biggest headline tour by an electronic artist in Australian history.

Sydney has delivered another milestone for the Grammy Award winner. Harris’ five-night run at The Domain has moved more than 150,000 tickets, making it the largest series of shows by a headline artist in the venue’s history.

The extraordinary sales followed what the promoters described as “unprecedented” demand. Additional performances were added in Sydney and Melbourne, and representatives said both new dates sold out within minutes of going on sale.

A major Australian return

The tour will mark Harris’ latest appearance in Australia after he headlined the main stage at Festival X in late 2022. His previous festival visits include sets at Stereosonic in 2011, 2012 and 2014, as well as Big Day Out in 2010. Festival X, Stereosonic and Big Day Out are no longer on the festival calendar.

Nicholas Greco, co-founder and managing partner at Untitled Group, called the tour’s sales achievement an “incredible milestone,” crediting both Harris and the audience response.

“To see Calvin Harris become the highest-selling electronic headline tour in Australian history is an incredible milestone. It speaks not only to the calibre of artist Calvin is, but to the fans who have shown up in such an extraordinary way to make this possible,” Greco said.

He added: “It’s a huge moment and a reflection of Australia’s appetite for electronic music and what’s possible for the genre here. We’re so proud to be part of it and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone when the tour arrives in February.”

Harris’ growing list of records

The Australian sales benchmark adds to a career already marked by chart and attendance records. Harris, whose real name is Adam Wiles, has scored 11 No. 1 singles in the United Kingdom, more than any other dance act on the Official U.K. Singles Chart.

That run dates back to “Dance Wiv Me,” his 2008 collaboration with Dizzee Rascal. Harris also holds the record for the most U.K. No. 1 singles during the 2010s, with eight.

His career honors include two Brit Awards and an Ivor Novello Award. He also became the first British solo artist to surpass one billion streams on Spotify.

Harris recently added a Guinness World Records achievement following a performance for an estimated 1.6 million partygoers in São Paulo, Brazil, in February of this year. The crowd is said to represent the largest attendance for a DJ set by a single artist.

What Happens Next?

With all dates already sold out, Harris is due to bring the record-breaking tour to Australia in February 2027. The run will arrive with two benchmarks already secured: the country’s biggest electronic headline tour and The Domain’s largest multi-show engagement by a headline artist.
