1 min readAubrey Plaza is keeping things cool and simple as she enters motherhood. This week, the actor was spotted taking a breather in New York City’s SoHo while in a breezy summer outfit. The highlight? Her mom jeans. Plaza wore a pair of low-rise, light-wash, blue jeans with a relaxed fit, which she folded at the ankles.
The denim paired perfectly with her white button-town, which she left partly unbuttoned and rolled up at the sleeves for an effortless look. For footwear, she reached for her trusty Birkenstock clogs in taupe suede, and she shaded her eyes with tortoiseshell sunglasses.
The My Old Ass star welcomed her first child just a few weeks ago, with boyfriend and fellow actor Christopher Abbott. The new dad had his final performance of Death of a Salesman on Broadway this past Sunday, and Plaza was there to support him, even bringing their newborn along.
Plaza was pictured carrying the baby for the first time outside of the theater, and she looked totally at ease in a black scoop-neck tank, loose blue jeans, black slide-on shoes, and black shades.
Sources told TMZ that the baby is a girl, and Plaza welcomed her in the last week of July.
While neither Plaza nor Abbott have commented on the birth of their child, Plaza did happily confirm her pregnancy in April, and she and Abbott have made several public appearances together since then. At the Tony Awards in June, they even made their red-carpet debut as a couple.
