1 min readThe Clooneys are back in Lake Como. George and Amal Clooney were pictured looking date-night-ready as they took a boat to the stunning Passalacqua Hotel in the luxurious Italian town to host a dinner for their Clooney Foundation for Justice.
The couple was joined by their rarely-seen twins, eight-year-old Ella and Alexander. (The pair keeps their children out of the spotlight, and the kids’ faces are blurred in these photos per company policy.)
Amal, ever the belle of the ball, brought out an elegant black dress for the occasion. The chic, floor-length piece had spaghetti straps and colorful flowers embroidered throughout. Peep-toe heels, inky sunglasses, and gold tassel earrings were paired with it. For a bit of fun, she also carried a beaded little red bag.
The Jay Kelly actor was his dapper self in a light gray suit and a crisp white button-down.
Lake Como is a sacred place for the Clooneys. George purchased his property, the grand Villa Oleandra in Laglio, in 2002, and it wasn’t until 2013 that Amal visited the villa and the two began dating. The couple has continued to spend much of their time at the lake since their wedding in Venice in 2014. And in fact, some of Amal’s best fashion moments have come from their Lake Como date nights—a ruffled Versace slipdress here, a sequined silver midi dress and a green sequined mini there. Oh, and never forget that yellow feather minidress from 2025.
