2 min readThe Venice Film Festival may be all about the best new projects in cinema, but in our eyes, it’s just as much about Amal Clooney’s exquisite style. The British barrister pulled out another perfect look this morning, as she stepped off a gondola with husband George Clooney to attend “The Future Of… Creativity” forum at the historic Scuola Vecchia della Misericordia.
For the occasion, Amal embodied breezy Venetian elegance in a slouchy cream off-the-shoulder dress embellished with raspberry-red polka-dots. The maxi was courtesy of Stella McCartney, and Amal expertly paired it with luxurious beachy accessories: beige mules from Aquazzura, a beaded cream bag with a silver chain handle, and brown tortoiseshell sunglasses. Sculptural gold earrings, an easy blowout, and a milky mani-pedi completed the daytime look.

The human rights lawyer debuted her sunny ensemble hours after she wowed in a shimmery aquamarine party dress from Caroline’s Couture. The strapless mini was covered in heart motifs, sequins, and layers of fun fringe, and Amal added to the sparkle by styling it with silver stilettos, diamond chandelier earrings, and a silver clutch.
The 2026 Venice Film Festival kicked off on September 2, and already, Amal has delivered a string of fantastic looks. For her arrival in the Italian coastal city, she was relaxed and polished in an olive-green top-and-shorts set that she finished off with a matching blazer.
And for her first red carpet of the festival, she stunned in a ruched black column dress custom-made by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford.
