Earlier this week, Zendaya and Tom Holland made their love official—again—with a private wedding ceremony held in the rural county of Surrey, England. A few months back, the pair secretly tied the knot at an undisclosed location, which was only revealed when Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, spilled the news at the 2026 Actor Awards. Then, Holland confirmed their union in an Esquire U.K. interview in June. It seems though, that this second ceremony was too lavish to keep a secret.

On August 4, the pair hosted a private party at the Beaverbrook Luxury Country House Hotel, a late Victorian mansion situated on 470 acres of country land, not too far south of London. The 56-room estate acted as the perfect venue for the newlyweds, where there was a “very natural theme to the wedding,” according to People sources. Attendees included loved ones like Holland’s three brothers: Sam, Harry and Paddy.

Built in the late 1860s, Beaverbrook was named after William Maxwell Aitken, AKA the 1st Baron Beaverbrook, who owned newspapers like the Daily Express and Evening Standard, and who was friends with political figures like Winston Churchill. After the building was erected by businessman Abraham Dixon, Lord Beaverbrook bought it in 1910 and began renovations the following year, adding amenities like a swimming pool, electricity, and one of the U.K.’s first home cinemas.

Over the years, the estate acted as a war bunker, a pit stop for celebrities like Rudyard Kipling and Elizabeth Taylor, and eventually, the private residence of Marcia Anastasia Christoforides, Lord Beaverbrook’s wife until his death in 1964.

It wasn’t until 2007 that the estate became open to the public, and 10 years later, it was renovated as a luxury hotel by Longshot Cherkley Court Ltd.

Now, the hotel includes not only the main house, but also surrounding villas and cottages. The grounds boast indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, a movie theater, restaurants, and tennis, pickleball, and padel tennis courts. Not to mention, the estate is home to quite the impressive art collection, curated by creative director Sir Frank Lowe, with works from Gerhard Richter, Marianne North, and Jean Cocteau.

As for why the pair chose the venue? Well, it should be noted that Holland grew up not far from this region of Surrey, in Kingston upon Thames in southwest London. So, it’s likely the couple chose a destination that felt close to home, at least for the Spider-Man actor.
