2 min readJennifer Lopez is about to be an empty nester. The superstar and mom of two just shared a look at her last big summer vacation with her teenage twins before they head off to college. And it looked like the dreamiest Italian road trip.
“Road tripping with my coconuts before they head off to college,” J.Lo wrote on Instagram alongside a handful of images taken across the country. From a gondola ride through the Venice canals to an outing at the Colosseum in Rome, the swipe-through showed the trio traveling from city to city—soaking up all the art and food that Italy has to offer.
Of course, Lopez also gave her followers a look at her Italian-getaway wardrobe. One shot showed her in a pink floral Zimmermann maxi dress, as she relaxed in a car beside her son, Max Muñiz. In another, she was seen in a plunging lemon-yellow gown, while fanning herself next to her other child, who now reportedly goes by Oskar.
She brought along straw hats, sunglasses, and headscarves to pair with cream corset midi dresses and striped shirt dresses alike. Then, there was the little white LoveShackFancy slipdress, finished with bow cutouts, which she wore to the Vatican—posing by the Fontana della Pigna with both her twins.
But a personal favorite would have to be her green-trimmed Dôen minidress: a sleeveless mini shift crafted from silk with adjustable tie straps, a bateau neckline, and a softly-flared A-line silhouette. Across the front and back were embroidered scenes of a tennis match, inspired by a 1920s artwork.
The Italian vacation seemed to serve as a graduation trip for the children, whom Lopez shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony. The two graduated from high school earlier this summer, and will be heading off to college in the fall.
