Olivia Rodrigo has returned to the top of the Billboard 200, with you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love claiming its third nonconsecutive week at No. 1.

The album rises from No. 2 on the chart dated Oct. 31, 2026, after earning 75,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week ending Oct. 22. That represents a 15% increase from the previous tracking period.

The renewed momentum was driven largely by the Oct. 15 arrival of a new “Expectations” remix featuring Chappell Roan, released alongside an official music video.

Streaming accounted for 63,000 of the album’s latest units, a 19% gain equivalent to 67.14 million official on-demand streams of its songs. The project also moves from No. 2 to No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums, securing a fifth total week atop that chart.

Album sales contributed another 11,000 units, down 7%, while the title climbs from No. 6 to No. 3 on Top Album Sales. Track equivalent album units totaled 1,000, up 121%.

Rodrigo previously led the Billboard 200 during the album’s first two chart weeks, dated June 27 and July 4. Its latest return extends an unusually steady run: you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love has remained inside the weekly top five throughout all 19 of its chart weeks.

Zach Bryan Debuts at No. 2

Zach Bryan opens at No. 2 with Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs, which earned 65,500 equivalent album units. The eight-song release features collaborations with Lana Del Rey and Turnpike Troubadours.

Of its opening total, 59,500 units came from streaming activity, representing 60.46 million official on-demand streams. The project consequently debuts at No. 2 on Top Streaming Albums.

Another 5,000 units came from album sales, placing it at No. 15 on Top Album Sales, while track equivalent activity supplied 1,000 units. During the tracking period, the album was available to buy only as a standard download; CD and vinyl editions are scheduled for December.

Bryan announced the project on Oct. 12 and released it four days later. The announcement followed the Oct. 10 conclusion of his With Heaven on Tour trek. Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs is his second release of the year, following January’s No. 1 debut With Heaven on Top.

The new arrival gives Bryan 10 Billboard 200-charted titles and six top 10 projects. In addition to his two 2026 releases, that group includes The Great American Bar Scene, which reached No. 2 in 2024; Boys of Faith, which peaked at No. 8 in 2023; his self-titled album, which spent two weeks at No. 1 in 2023; and American Heartbreak, which reached No. 5 in 2022.

The Rest of the Top 10

Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem remains at No. 3 with 54,000 equivalent album units, down 2%, while Ella Langley’s Dandelion holds at No. 4 with 49,000 units, a 7% decline.

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl falls from No. 1 to No. 5 after earning 42,000 units, down 52%. Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide slips one position to No. 6 with 40,000 units, down 9%.

Drake’s HABIBTI moves from No. 6 to No. 7 with 35,000 units, a 20% decrease. Kahan’s Stick Season stays at No. 8 with 33,000, down by less than 1%, and Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving drops from No. 7 to No. 9 with nearly 33,000 units, down 8%. SZA’s former chart-topper SOS advances from No. 11 to No. 10 with 30,000 units, also declining by less than 1%.

The Billboard 200 measures weekly U.S. album popularity through equivalent album units compiled by Luminate. Its calculations combine album sales, track equivalent albums and streaming equivalent albums. One unit can represent one album sale, 10 individual tracks sold, 2,500 ad-supported official on-demand streams or 1,000 paid or subscription official on-demand streams. Luminate reviews and authenticates submitted data, with suspicious or unverifiable information removed before the rankings are finalized.

ShowBiz Take

Rodrigo’s latest No. 1 is more than another chart-week milestone. The album has never left the top five across 19 weeks, and the response to the Chappell Roan-assisted “Expectations” remix helped turn a runner-up position into a renewed lead. Its 67.14 million weekly streams and fifth week atop Top Streaming Albums underline how strongly streaming continues to support the project.

Bryan’s No. 2 launch is also notable because it came after a four-day announcement-to-release window and while the album was available for purchase only as a standard download. With physical editions still to come, its initial performance was led overwhelmingly by streaming.

What Happens Next?

The complete Oct. 31, 2026-dated Billboard 200 is set to be posted on Oct. 27. Bryan’s CD and vinyl editions are due in December, while his Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs Tour is scheduled to begin April 28, 2027.
