1 min readWe are only a couple of weeks away from Practical Magic 2 hitting theaters (on September 11), and to celebrate the film’s impending release, costars Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman attended a premiere event in London yesterday afternoon in some very different, but equally bold looks. Bullock chose a leopard-print Givenchy dress for the occasion, while Kidman wore a sparkly sequined Chanel gown. But for their latest joint appearance, the two put forward a much more united front.
For an event at Claridge’s Hotel in central London this morning, the actors paid homage to their on-screen characters—sisters Sally and Gillian Owens—by coordinating in witchy black looks with pops of white.
Sandra Bullock wore a blazer paired with an asymmetrical skirt.
Bullock wore a charcoal, single-breasted blazer with floral embroidery wrapped around one side. She went shirtless underneath, but sported a white sash tied around her neck like a choker, which matched her white skirt. A black floral lace layer from under the blazer sat over the asymmetrical skirt, adding some romance to the look, while inky ankle-strap heels and a black mani-pedi rounded it all out.
Kidman wore a little black dress with pearl-strand shoulder straps.
Kidman, meanwhile, wore a plunging little black dress with pearl-strand shoulder straps, along with black-and-white slingback heels to bring it all together and coordinate with her costar. She skipped the jewelry, but her famous honey-blonde hair was styled in crimped waves, just like Bullock’s, which only united their looks even more.
The appearance just goes to show that whether they’re coordinating their ensembles or doing their own thing, these two create magic on every carpet.
